Quick Policy Overview

All products are digital. No physical items are shipped.

All sales are final on digital downloads.

Templates are for your own business use only (no reselling as templates).

Do not share, resell, or redistribute my Canva links, PDFs, or files.

Digital Products & Delivery

ChiDigitalDesigns (CDD) sells digital products only.

After purchase, you’ll receive:

  • A PDF and/or direct link with access to your templates or files.
  • Delivery via:
  • Your Etsy account downloads / website account downloads, and/or
  • The email you used at checkout.

PLEASE BE SURE TO:

Download and save your files to your canva folder or cloud storage.

CDD is not responsible for lost files due to device issues, but if you lose access, reach out with proof of purchase and I’ll try to help.

Usage Rights (Templates & Designs)

When you purchase from ChiDigitalDesigns, you’re buying a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the design for your own brand/business, not to resell the design itself.

✅ You Can:

  • Use templates to brand your own business (labels, cards, forms, socials, etc.).
  • Edit:
  • Colors
  • Fonts
  • Text
  • Layouts to match your brand.

Use finished designs to:

  • Sell your own products (ex: hair/skin/body products using labels you edited).
  • Promote your services (ex: pricing guides, forms, welcome packets).
  • Print or use them digitally for your own marketing and operations.

❌ You Cannot:

  • Resell or redistribute the templates themselves in any form.
  • No re-uploading the Canva template as your own template.
  • No selling the PDF/Canva link as a “template,” “bundle,” or “kit.”
  • Share your download links, PDFs, or Canva templates with friends, clients, or other businesses.
  • Claim the original ChiDigitalDesigns template as your own design.
  • Use CDD templates to build your own template shop or design bundles.

If a client wants a similar design, they must:

  • Purchase their own license, or
  • Book a custom service with me.

4. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

  • Payments
  • All prices are listed in USD.
  • Taxes/fees may apply depending on your location and platform (Etsy/website).
  • Pricing, bundles, and promos may change at any time.
  • Refunds (Digital Products)

Because CDD products are instant digital downloads, all sales are final.

  • No refunds
  • No returns
  • No exchanges
  • No cancellations once the order is placed

Very limited exceptions (case-by-case):

  • You accidentally purchase the same listing twice, or
  • You truly cannot access your files due to a technical issue,

Please contact me within 7 days of purchase with:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Email used at checkout
  • What went wrong
  • I’ll review and do my best to fix it (access help / duplicate resolution).

Custom Design Services (CDD Studio Work)

For custom services like:

  • Custom label design
  • Branding suites
  • One-on-one design projects
  • Booking & Payment
  • Payment is required upfront to secure your spot.
  • Once work has started, the project is non-refundable.
  • Revisions & Process

You’ll receive:

  • X initial concept(s) (ex: 1–2, you decide), and
  • X rounds of revisions (ex: 2–3 rounds).

After final approval:

  • You’ll receive final files in the formats listed on the service page (for example: PNG, JPG, PDF).
  • You can use the final design for your business branding and products.
  • CDD retains the copyright to the original artwork and may:
  • Use the design in portfolios
  • Post it on social media
  • Use it as a sample of work

If you want your project kept private, please request that in writing before we begin.

You cannot:

  • Resell the custom design as a template
  • Give the editable files to another designer to resell as their own

Technology, Software & Compatibility

Most CDD templates are designed for:

Canva (Free or Pro), unless otherwise stated.

You are responsible for:

  • Having the required software/app (ex: Canva).
  • Knowing basic Canva functions (editing text, replacing photos, changing colors, etc.).

I cannot guarantee:

  • Compatibility with outdated devices or software.
  • That files will work with other design platforms not listed in the product description.

Intellectual Property (IP) & Copyright

All designs, templates, graphics, written content, and layouts are the intellectual property of ChiDigitalDesigns (CDD) / The Creative District.

Purchasing a product = you receive a license to use the design,
not ownership of the original design.

You agree not to:

  • Claim CDD designs as your own original work.
  • Remove branding or copyright notices where shown (unless the listing allows it).
  • Use CDD designs to build your own template kits, bundles, or digital product shop.

Policy Updates

These policies may be updated as:

  • New products/services are added
  • The business grows
  • Legal requirements change

Changes will be reflected here with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Your continued purchase or use of CDD products after changes means you agree to the updated policy.
